MARS HAS SIGHTS SET ON FALS FRENZY NEXT
(October 2, 2019)
Menomonie, Wisconsin ace Jimmy Mars made his way to ABC Raceway
in Ashland, Wisconsin on September 27-28 for the 44th annual running
of the 'Red Clay Classic.' Jimmy, who once again entered both the
WISSOTA Late Model and Open Wheel Modified divisions during the
two-day spectacular, had his best run of the weekend behind the
wheel of his father-in-law's red #28 MB Customs Late Model. He ran
third in heat race action prior to picking off four competitors
during the 50-lap headliner to place fifth at the checkers behind
only $5,000 victor Jesse Glenz, A.J. Diemel, Derek Vesel, and Chad
In Open Wheel Modified competition, Jimmy was gunning for the $4,000
top prize against a huge field of open wheel warriors. The driver
known as the "Iceman" placed second in his heat race,
but was unfortunately caught up in a wreck during Saturday's 35-lap
A-Main that dropped him to a disappointing eighteenth place performance.

weekend off from racing competition. In addition to working on client
cars this weekend, they will also be prepping their own equipment
for the upcoming 'FALS Frenzy' at Fairbury Speedway in downtown
Fairbury, Illinois. The doubleheader weekend at FALS on October
11-12 will start with a complete show for the Super Late Models
on Friday night paying $5,000 to win, while Saturday's 60-lap finale
will boast a $15,000 payday. More information on 'FALS Frenzy' can
